Tasting Note:

This 100% Shiraz from three vineyards aged 109 127 and 152 years spent two years in a combination of new and old French and American oak. Tasted just before it was to be bottled unfined and unfiltered it offers up lovely aromas of blackberries white flowers graphite and white chocolate. This rich full-bodied layered powerful (14.5% alcohol) Shiraz cascades over the palate with great intensity yet remains light on its feet. Possessing sweet tannin with loads of richness and extract it should evolve for 15-20 years. Langmeil_s winemaker Paul Lindner is the force behind this brilliant wine. Source: Wine Advocate
