The wine started as a single-vineyard expression, but Chiara later decided to blend fruit from various sites to reflect the methods used to make traditional Barolo. The 2009 E. Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis Barolo Via Nuova is elegant and streamlined with bright accents of wild berry, mint and licorice.
